Long history

A family tradition

The facility has been operating since 1940, where during the war a kindergarten was opened for the children of parents who worked in fields, quarries, forests...
Around 1971, the Slovenian company "Povrtnina" opened a shop and a small inn! Before the breakup of Yugoslavia in 1988, "Povrtnina" also collapsed. Danica Mihin, a trader in the aforementioned company, takes over the building for rent and opens a restaurant. At that time, we had a major renovation job waiting for us, starting with the walls, floors and bar. We "drew" the rent until 1998, when Danica, with the help of a large loan, bought the aforementioned building.
On 19.01.2004. Danica (mother) gave us the inn with all the belongings, for which we are still eternally grateful and Sanja Mihin (daughter-in-law) became the owner.

Then a new major adaptation followed, step by step as our financial possibilities allowed. In 2006, we built a large indoor terrace as well as an outdoor terrace, which we are particularly proud of with its unusual interior and exterior, all according to the idea of Sanja and Mladena Mihin. Today, we have turned it into a family business where our children help us to some extent.

We have excellent relations with the parties, we respect each other and act as a community. Since we are right on the border, a large number of our guests are Slovenians who love all our Croatian beers, which we offer in large numbers (about 17 types). Our guests have already been famous singers, actors, entertainers as well as people from public life. I would especially like to point out: Davor Dretar-Drele, Kralj Češnjaka (Venčeslav Špilak), Vid Balog, Darko Janeš, Rajko Suhodolčan, Kristina Iveković, Ivan Fiolić-Fio, Kristijan Petrović-Kiki, Krunoslav Čolo and many others. In recent years, we have been organizing parties with a DJ for all generations, where they party and dance until the morning hours!
